Verify a QGF certificate
Every awarded certificate carries a unique ID, a QR code and a checksum. Anyone can check it. A hiring manager should not have to take a screenshot on trust.
This page is the public front door. The cryptographic lookup itself lives at cert/verify.html — scan the QR on a printed certificate and you will land there with the result already loaded. If you only have an ID or a copied URL, paste it below and we will send you to the same checker.
What a successful check shows
The holder’s printed name, the award line (for example a Cup placement or a pillar commendation), the season, and a status badge. It will not show a home address, a student number, or a full leaderboard. QGF does not publish a public directory of named student winners; verification is one certificate at a time, on purpose.
What a failed check means
The ID is unknown, the checksum does not match (the file was edited), or the certificate was retired after a correction or a proven conduct case. Ask the holder for the original URL. Do not accept a cropped PNG with the QR taped over.
After awards
Certificates are generated by the programme office, not by participants. The staff issuing page is not a public resource and is disallowed for search engines. If your name is wrong, mail support@qgf.org with the ID; we re-issue rather than inviting you to edit a PDF. A longer explanation of the post-award flow sits in the rulebook.
